I’ve always said it: books transport me into a different world! They offer the tonic that is much needed when you need escapism and time to unwind.

If you’re unable to read due to sheer exhaustion from your chronic condition, audiobooks are a great option.

It’s been proved over and over: laughter is needed to lift our spirits and to provide the balm where little else seems to work.

Especially right now, as the world burns, literature and books are ever more important. In the space where many things are being oppressed, banned and restricted, we need to be revolutionary. And oh boy, these books are revolutionary!

“Reading is the sole means by which we slip, involuntarily, often helplessly, into another’s skin, another’s voice, another’s soul.” — Joyce Carol Oates

Stephen King
